Remember when? Pan Am flight attendant takes us back in time: "Take a step back in time with ABC's new show 'Pan Am' and it may just have you thinking about what airline travel used to be like decades ago.

Scottsdale resident Patti Baker remembers it well.

She was one of those sharp dressed Pan Am flight attendants with a job many wanted.

"It was fun, a lot of fun," Baker laughed.

Since word of ABC's new show, Baker and her friends started talking a bit more, looking through old photos and reminiscing about life as a flight attendant in the early 70s.

"It wasn't a job, it was fun to go to work, it was an adventure and amazing educational opportunity," Baker said.

She said it wasn't uncommon for a flight attendant to be gone on 10 or 11 day trips around the world.  She recalls the times when she could spend a day sightseeing in Europe or enjoying a layover in Fiji.

"Oh its changed so much, but I look back and think, I was so lucky," said Baker while sitting in her living room."
