Teodoro "Ted" Ramirez is a premier Southwest folk musician, singer/songwriter and storyteller. Ted is a living link in the chain of troubadours of the Southwest.

Ted is the "Official Troubadour" of his hometown Tucson, Arizona, the Artists in Residence at the Tubac Historic Presidio Park,  and the recipient of the prestigious "Arizona Culture Keeper Award" the "Governor's Heritage Award" and many other culture preservation awards.

The Arizona Folklore Preserve, in partnership with the University of Arizona South, and Dolan Ellis, Arizona’s Official State Balladeer, is proud to present the following concerts. Show time for the regularly scheduled Saturday and Sunday matinees is 2:00 p.m.; doors open at 1:00 p.m. Reservations are recommended. The cost for the matinee shows is $15.00 for adults and $6.00 for children 17 and under. (Click on the artist's name for more information. Click on the small "thumbnail" picture to see a larger image.)

"Free ice cream will be served at Cold Stone Creamery locations from 5 to 8 p.m. Tuesday to benefit the Make-A-Wish Foundation.


Customers will receive a free 3-ounce serving of Sweet Cream ice cream with moist brownie, rainbow sprinkles and rich fudge, and they will be encouraged to make a donation to the foundation.


The foundation, founded in 1980, grants wishes of children with life-threatening medical conditions to enrich the human experience with hope, strength and joy.


Scottsdale-based Cold Stone Creamery operates more than 1,500 stores in 17 countries.


It is a subsidiary of Kahala, a franchising company with 14 quick-service restaurant brands."
