East Valley Tribune - Arizona Local News

East Valley Tribune - Arizona Local News: "YUMA, Ariz. (AP) — General aviation pilots in Yuma are airing it out over their dislike for a ban on driving their vehicles to their parked aircraft at Yuma International Airport.
Marine Corps Air Station Yuma Col. Robert Kuckuk says he understands their frustration as a general aviator himself. However, as the one responsible for the security of the airfield and with the F-35 Joint Striker Fighter that's coming to Yuma, the colonel says he can't bend the rules.
The Yuma Sun (http://bit.ly/oz9alW ) reports Kuckuk was quick to add he wasn't saying no to all vehicles inside the perimeter. But any vehicles on the air field need to be clearly marked so the tower can quickly and easily recognize them as being authorized to be there."
