    Writers of all levels will have an opportunity to learn from some of the best in their field at the annual Desert Nights, Rising Stars Writers Conference, held at the Tempe campus of Arizona State University (ASU), Feb. 23-26, 2012.
    The Virginia G. Piper Center for Creative Writing at ASU is sponsoring this annual writer's conference which includes classes, panels and discussions in fiction, nonfiction and poetry. Attendees will also have the option to enroll in a Master Class with one of the distinguished visiting faculty members, including Robert Boswell, Bernard Cooper, Carolyn Forche, Pam Houston, Mat Johnson, A. Van Jordan, Antonya Nelson, Alix Ohlin and Eleanor Wilner.
    In addition to the classroom instruction, participants can also attend readings and book signings by the visiting faculty.

    Desert Nights, Rising Stars Writers Conference registration includes a welcoming banquet. Master classes add six hours of intimate instruction in a group of no more than 10.
