Where will it hit? Satellite barreling toward Earth: "ABC News is reporting that a satellite weighing nearly 6 tons is heading toward Earth and could crash into the planet as early as next week.

According to the report , the Upper Atmosphere Research Satellite, or UARS, has been in orbit since 1991 and is gradually coming closer to the ground.

NASA officials reportedly told ABC News overnight they won't know where the satellite will hit until two hours before it enters the Earths' atmosphere, possibly as early as September 24."
