D-Link camera lets you watch your home on your smartphone

Back in the '90s , I had purchased a very high tech home phone via ATT - I thought it was groundbreaking. It had a variety of options and one of the options was that you could call your home and push a certain button code and from there the phone would scan in and listen to your home for a brief amount of time.

It is amazing how far technology has come and how rapidly technology continues to advance.

My entire family has smart phones - I am still stuck on an old Blackberry. It works and I can't bring myself to pay for or replace something that still works! However, I have noticed many of the apps I try to download lately tell me my phone is too lame to run the app. - so I think it may be time to start considering options - before I'm left way behind ha! I have an upgrade coming up soon and am seriously considering getting a smart phone.

What are our readers opinions on the best smart phones out there?
I vaguely have researched the smart phones and the phones that I am aware of through family and friends seem so social media driven.

I love my blog but I don't know for sure that I am into updating the world of my every second of movement.

The new smart phones feel invasive - am I getting smart phone technology terribly wrong?

Suggestions?
