Eastern Arizona Courier

Eastern Arizona Courier: "A Gila Valley man who regularly plays the Scratcher tickets of the Arizona Lottery recently purchased the ticket of a lifetime and won $1 million.

Kevin Payne hit the jackpot when he walked into the Daily Stop Market at 3768 W. Golf Course Rd. and purchased an Arizona's Millionaire Club Scratchers ticket. The Courier attempted to contact Payne several times but did not get a response.

According to the Arizona Lottery, the odds of winning the top prize of $1 million is one in 400,000, and there is still one grand prize winning ticket remaining. Grand prize winners are paid $40,000 per year (minus applicable taxes) for 25 years. "
