Protecting yourself from West Nile virus: "Maricopa County is spraying certain areas to deal with a mosquito problem. The Vector Control department has seen more than 100 cases of the West Nile virus since the mosquito season started.

On Friday, the Health Department and Environment Services announced the first two confirmed West Nile deaths in the state . Both were elderly men in good condition.

Vector control specialists say they’ve seen a different trend with the virus this year."
