Desert Vista High School Hosts 'Pink Out' Friday For Breast Cancer $12 Tee Proceeds Going Local!
Desert Vista 'pinks out' Friday - East Valley Tribune: Education: "Tempe Union High School District's Desert Vista High School, 16440 S. 32nd St., Phoenix, is hosting a "pink out" Friday as the Thunder take on Mesa's Westwood High School. Fans are invited to wear pink to highlight the importance of breast cancer awareness. The Desert Vista football boosters and Desert Vista bookstore will sell commemorative T-shirts for $12, with proceeds going to local breast cancer awareness and research charities. On Tuesday, the Arizona Cardinals presented the team with pink jerseys to wear for Friday's game."
