What's right in a rout? | VarsityXtra - Arizona High School Sports: "The top-ranked Saguaro football team should have been enjoying an impressive victory over No. 2 Phoenix Thunderbird last Thursday.

It was a matchup of two defending state champions, and the Sabercats trounced the Chiefs, 70-21, to cement their claim as the favorite in Division III.

After the game, though, much of the attention was focused on a late Saguaro touchdown pass when the team already had a 42-point lead. Coach John Sanders had his headset off and didn’t hear the play-call in time to veto it, and first-year offensive coordinator Jason Mohns admitted he made a bad decision."
