New Arizona law prohibits cities from removing political signs

New Arizona law prohibits cities from removing political signs: "Getting sick of the visual pollution caused by political signs? Don't call City Hall.

A new state law prohibits cities and towns from removing political signs from the public right of way during election season. Signs have already crept up along public roadsides and street corners in Phoenix, Mesa and Surprise.

That's because House Bill 2500, sponsored by state Rep. David Gowan, R-Sierra Vista, takes precedence over local laws banning the signs from public property."
