Teddy bears on display at Mesa cafe show 9/11 spirit | EV Moms

Teddy bears on display at Mesa cafe show 9/11 spirit | EV Moms: "Fred Greenspan recalls the day he was leaving his New York offices in 2001 when a truck pulled down the street.

“I’m looking for Tylin Promotions,” the driver told him.

Greenspan, president and executive director of Tylin, didn’t know of any pending delivery. But inside the truck were 1,000 teddy bears, donated by a Wal-mart in Iowa to B.R. Miller Middle School in Marshalltown. The students at the Iowa school wanted to help the families of victims of the Sept. 11 attacks on New York City’s World Trade Center. At the time, Tylin was coordinating some of the efforts to assist the families in New York. The company has since moved its offices to Arizona."
