Mtn. Pointe 1 of 4 schools in U.S. to win Kennedy arts award: "Mountain Pointe High School is one of only four schools nationwide to earn the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts National Schools of Distinction in Arts Education Award for 2010-2011.
It also is the only public school on this year's awards list, and the only Arizona school so honored in the National Schools of Distinction in Arts' 12-year history."
