East Valley Tribune - Arizona Local News

East Valley Tribune - Arizona Local News: "PHOENIX (AP) — Libertarian attorney Michael Kielsky has decided against running in the Nov. 8 recall election of state Senate President Russell Pearce.
That still leaves a potential candidacy by a Republican woman up in the air as Friday's filing deadline approaches.
Pearce is on the ballot automatically, and charter-school executive Jerry Lewis in August filed nominating petitions to run in the District 18 race.
Kielsky says he wanted to run to provide a Libertarian voice in the race and to take a stand against the SB1070 immigration enforcement law that Pearce championed.
But Kielsky says he's stepping aside and will back Lewis.
