Arizona Weather: This week we see cooler weather, and rain chances

Arizona Weather: This week we see cooler weather, and rain chances: "Our brutal, long hot summer is finally starting to break down. The big change comes in two forms. The Monsoon High moves to the favorable spot and we see more moisture streaming in Monday. We also see an area of Low Pressure moving in from California and that should cool us down and trigger more widespread thunderstorms by Monday Evening. It's important to remember that this is all relative and the chances are better than they have been, but not a slam-dunk. Our temps will still be over 100 degrees, but compared to last week, it will be very different. Monday is our best shot at rain in quite some time. Tuesday doesn't look half-bad either as most of the elements are in place, but if we blow it out Monday night, the atmosphere may not recover in time to bring great chances Tuesday. We could also see a near miss Monday, and see better chances on Tuesday. It all depends on the timing of the low and the deepest plume of moisture from the South.
