East Valley Tribune - Arizona Local News

East Valley Tribune - Arizona Local News: " Temporary replacements have been appointed to serve on the Arizona Senate Ethics Committee to consider one senator's complaint against three of the committee members who are investigating a separate complaint against him in a domestic violence incident.
The complaint filed late Tuesday by Republican Sen. Scott Bundgaard of Peoria contends that committee Chairman Ron Gould and two other members have said or done things that indicate they can't be fair in considering the complaint against Bundgaard.
Gould, R-Lake Havasu City, and Democratic Sens. David Schapira of Tempe and Leah Landrum Taylor of Phoenix have denied that claim but recused themselves from hearing Bundgaard's complaint against them.
Senate President Russell Pearce appointed other three senators Thursday as temporary replacements.
Pearce said committee's rules required him to make the temporarily replacements."
