Fill empty bowls, fight hunger - East Valley Tribune: East Valley Local News: "For a $10 donation, you can help feed hungry homeless, unemployed or working poor people in the East Valley while enjoying your own simple meal of bread, soup and water. Mesa Community College will host two such Empty Bowls charity events on Oct. 19 and 26 in observance of World Hunger Day.
The two events are 10:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. and 5 to 8 p.m., Oct. 19 at the Southern and Dobson Campus, 1833 W. Southern Ave., and 10:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. and 5 to 8 p.m., Oct. 26 at MCC's Red Mountain Campus, 7110 E. McKellips Road."
