ASU moves closer to having Lake Havasu City campus - KTAR.com

ASU moves closer to having Lake Havasu City campus - KTAR.com: " Arizona State University is one step closer to having a campus in Lake Havasu City.

The Arizona Board of Regents met Thursday in Flagstaff and approved a lease agreement between ASU and the Lake Havasu Unified School District No. 1. That clears the way for renovations to begin on the now-unused middle school that could be used next fall.

ASU reportedly plans to offer undergraduate degrees in psychology, communications, biology and business at the Lake Havasu City campus with 130 full-time students in the first semester and the enrollment reaching 700 by the year 2016.

ASU is considering a $6,000 tuition rate for in-state students at the Lake Havasu City campus next fall. That compares to a base rate of more than $9,000 for undergraduate residents at ASU's Tempe campus."
