One-of-a-Kind Chair Stolen from Upholstery Store:

"Somebody stole this custom-built chair from outside Brown's Upholstery near University and Longmore.

The chair is purple, with eyes, a nose, a mouth, and arms. It's nearly six feet tall and four feet wide.

It's one of two chairs just like it created at the shop.

The owner says he made them when the economy started to go bad as a way to catch people's eyes and bring in more business.

"It just isn't right for people to take something that doesn't belong to them. I mean they had to know it belonged to somebody, especially when it's right there by our big sign. So that's why I'd like it back," says Pete Lopez of Brown's Upholstery.

Lopez says the missing chair is worth $500 to $600. He says he won't press charges if it's returned. "
