Arizona grocery prices fall, bacon down 8 percent - Phoenix Business Journal: "New data from the Arizona Farm Bureau shows food prices in Arizona fell 1 percent from the second to third quarter, and bacon prices saw the biggest decline.
The Arizona Farm Bureau data shows prices were up four percent nationwide from the second to third quarter of this year. AFB spokeswoman Julie Murphree said the increase in national prices can be attributed to the growing demand for food and the extreme weather that has plagued the U.S. However, Arizona has not seen the same problems because of its climate."
