It's That Time of Year Again, Fall! Check out These Valley Events to Kick Off the Autumn Season & Get You Into Halloween Spirit!

Phoenix Parks and Recreation is Sponsoring a Series of Fun , Family Events to Celebrate the Arrival of Fall and Halloween


Here is the start of Phoenix Parks & Rec Fall Event List!


Native Foods and Craft Fair
Pueblo Grande Museum, 4619 E. Washington St.
Saturday, Oct. 15, 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.
The fair highlights fresh locally-grown produce and art from area artists. Fairgoers also can enjoy free admission to the museum and archaeological park and kids' activities. Native American demonstrators and vendors will also be displaying their art.


Boo Fest
Beuf Community Center/Paseo Highlands Park, 3425 W. Pinnacle Peak Rd.
Saturday, Oct. 22, 6 to 9 p.m.
Enjoy horse drawn hayrides, a pumpkin patch (for kids 15 and under), inflatable bouncers, climbing wall, carnival games, live entertainment and a costume parade with judging. Each child 15 and under also gets a goodie bag. More information: (602) 534-4754."


Sunnyslope Community Fall Festival
Sunnyslope Park, 820 E. Vogel
Saturday, Oct. 22, 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.
This event has children's games and relays, entertainment, food, a costume parade, and community resource booths. More information: 602-262-6661

Scare Fair
Desert West Community Center, 6501 W. Virginia
Friday, Oct. 28, 6 to 8 p.m.
Free carnival games, concessions, music and much more. There will also be a Haunted House that will cost .50 for kids 6 and up. More information: 602-495-3700.

Fall Fright Fest
Mountain View Community Center, 1104 E. Grovers.
Saturday, Oct. 29, 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
This outdoor family event features games, food booths, raffles, face painting,
trick-or-treating, and costume contests. More information: 602-534-2500.

Hallowe'en & Zombie Walk
Heritage & Science Park, 115 N. 6th St.
Saturday, Oct. 29, 2 to 10 p.m.
This includes a day of frights, food, and in the park’s Historic Heritage Square. Admission to the event is free but some activities will require a small fee. Food also will be available for purchase. There also will be tours available of Rosson House Museum for a small fee. The Zombie Walk will leave the park at 6 p.m. and return one hour later.
