National Parks Fees Waived for National Public Land Day - Saturday

Entry fee to national parks waived
In recognition of National Public Lands Day on Saturday, area national forests and monuments will waive entry fees. This includes Grand Canyon National Park and Wuptaki, Sunset Crater and Walnut Canyon national monuments. Day use fees will also be waived at all standard amenity fee sites in the Sedona area operated by the U.S. Forest Service including the Red Rock Pass; this includes access to Palatki and Honanki Ruins, V Bar B Cultural Site and approximately 300 miles of multiple-use trails. Volunteer trail work and clean-up activities are also planned for Saturday. For a list of volunteer opportunities, visit www.publiclandsday.org/.

Don't forget the Lower Salt River Clean Up Volunteer Opportunity I posted earlier! Crew meets at Pebble Beach Recreation area on Saturday Morn'! You can register online or you can register Saturday morning on location.
The cleaning effort lasts until around noon and free noms will be served starting around 11a.m.
